Bostik's TKO™
Hardwood Flooring Adhesive

Bostik TKOBOSTIK’S TKO™ is a one-part, trowel applied, moisture-cure urethane adhesive, very similar to the Bostik BEST. Bostik TKO is in fact considered to be the next evolution in hardwood flooring adhesvie development.

  • easier to trowel, thus less physically demanding or maybe exhausting :) . This is the biggest reason to recommend the Bostik adheasive to your clients, it keeps the installers ready and willing for the next job.
  • The TKO holds a better ridge then previous Bostik adhesives, with less tendency to slump
  • easier clean up, so less time on the jobsite

As with the Bostik BEST:

  • waterproof
  • tough and flexible to allow wood movement. As the home's humidity varies with the seasons of the year, the hardwood flooring AND the glue will move together to maintain the bond between the concrete and the wood flooring.
  • Contains Bostik’s BLOCKADE™ antimicrobial protection
  • Extremely Low Odor
  • contain NO water to affect the flooring. Thus it will not cause the engineered hardwood flooring to expand during the installation cycle.
  • Freeze/Thaw Stable

As with all moisture cured polyurethane glues they do dry faster as the humidity increases in the home, but still best to wait 24 hours before normal traffic.

For use with both Engineered and solid wood floor, bamboo and parquet hardwood flooring that are specifically designed and recommended in writing by the hardwood flooring manufacturer for glue-down applications. It can also be used for ceramic and marble. May be used for residential, commercial, and institutional installations.

Check out online pricing for the Bostic hardwood flooring adhesive to give you an idea on cost. It typically works out to about $1.00 per square foot, well worth the extra expense over its cheaper cousins.
